National Association of Broadcasters and Crosby~Volmer Keep TV Issues Flipped On
WASHINGTON, DC — Crosby~Volmer International Communications and the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) will work together to publicize and promote NAB's television initiatives, including the national transition to digital television, it was announced today.
"The National Association of Broadcasters helps protect every American's right to enjoy free, high-quality TV," said Rob Volmer, President of Crosby~Volmer. In addition to providing strategic communications services and counsel, Crosby~Volmer will work with NAB to inform the tens of millions of Americans who currently rely on over-the-air television about the federally-mandated transition to digital TV. This massive, nationwide consumer education campaign will help ensure no American household is left behind when broadcasters begin transmitting exclusively digital signals on February 17, 2009.
The National Association of Broadcasters is a trade association that advocates on behalf of the more than 8,300 free, local radio and television stations as well as broadcast networks around the country.
