Maria F Echeto Joins Crosby~Volmer's Public Relations Team
Washington, DC — Crosby~Volmer International Communications (CVIC), a Washington, DC-based public relations firm, welcomes Maria F Echeto as an Account Executive. Echeto will be working on a national consumer awareness campaign, in addition to working with CVIC's Hispanic and Latin American Affairs Division.
Maria Echeto has more than four years of experience working directly with the Latin Community as a radio program host and producer targeting Hispanics in the following stations 950, 810, 1420, 900 AM. Her focus was to disseminate information on immigration, politics, Latin help institutions like Casa de Maryland, and important local events. During that time, she worked with several Latin institutions around the United States.
Echeto will work with the DTV Speakers Bureau to increase the knowledge nationwide about the Digital Television Transition as well as assisting the education efforts within the Hispanic community.
Prior to Crosby~Volmer, Echeto studied communications at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations. Echeto's Spanish fluency and grassroots knowledge of the Hispanic community will be an asset for CVIC's Hispanic and Latin American Affairs division.
