Kate Wade Joins Crosby~Volmer's Growing Public Relations Team
WASHINGTON, DC — Crosby~Volmer International Communications (CVIC), a Washington, DC-based public relations firm, today announced the addition of Kate Wade to its growing public relations team.
Wade is experienced in Latin American affairs and the development of cross-cultural alliances, and will assist the Hispanic Outreach division at Crosby~Volmer with outreach and education efforts among the growing Latino community.
She joins the team at Crosby~Volmer as an Account Executive to begin immediate work on major consumer outreach and consumer education campaigns with nationally recognized associations and organizations.
"I'm thrilled to have Kathryn on board," said Rob Volmer, President of CVIC. "Her extensive background in languages and blue collar work ethic will add another exciting layer to our talented team of communicators."
Prior to Crosby~Volmer, Wade studied languages and communications at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish with a minor in English. Wade also spent a year studying abroad at the University of Seville in Spain where she was involved with its School of Communications, and helped to organize a conference on the relations between sports and the media in the United States. Wade's fluency in Spanish will be an asset for CVIC's Hispanic outreach division.
