Barbara Miller Joins Crosby~Volmer International Communications
WASHINGTON — Crosby~Volmer International Communications, a Washington, DC-based public relations firm, today welcomed Barbara Miller as the newest member of its strategic communications team.
"I'm pleased to welcome Barbara to the Crosby~Volmer team," said Rob Volmer, the firm's President. "She brings in-depth experience running proactive, strategic campaigns from many different perspectives, and will be a welcomed voice at the table with our clients."
Prior to joining Crosby~Volmer, Miller worked with Gibbs & Soell Inc. Public Relations in New York, where she coordinated corporate relations campaigns for Syngenta and Georgia-Pacific.
Miller also formerly worked with Freeman PR and The Eden Communications Group in New Jersey. She has implemented campaigns ranging in community demographics from middle America's Main Street to Wall Street. Miller brings a variety of skills and experience to Crosby~Volmer including event planning, internal corporate relations and media relations. Miller also has a background in medical marketing and consumer relations.
Miller earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a minor in Business Administration from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey, and was elected president of the Public Relations Student Society of American, Seton Hall Chapter.
